BIO
Hydracarbon was founded by singer/songwriter Tim Growley, who serves as the writer, performer, and producer for the band. Disillusioned by the direction of rock music, Growley set out to follow his creativity wherever it may lead. To reinforce his minimalistic approach, the name Hydracarbon came about to represent the elemental building blocks of life. Growley grew up in Mina outside of Sherman, NY. He now resides in Jamestown, NY. Hydracarbon appears courtesy of Photographer Records, an independent artist owned music label dedicated to providing authentic alternatives to pop music, also managed by Growley.
